Today is the 300th day of 2024.

Numbers are really interesting when they line up a certain way.

Like, when the time on the clock in the middle of the night says 3:33 or in the morning 11:11 and similar instances that seem to happen and yell for your attention saying “see me!”

See me. How often do you truly see yourself or other people that you come in contact with?

Do you look into someone’s eyes when you speak to them or, are you like I used to be and feel so unseen that you rarely look into someone else’s eyes to see them because then they might see you and someone really seeing me is scary. Until we see ourselves we are unable to see others.

And isn’t that the small thing? We all want to be seen.

Sunday Solace

The hustle and bustle of the past week is behind me so I begin my week with a deep breath and tell myself, “yes, I am okay”.

With this breath I can see the new bloom on a plant, hear the song from the birds  and the whispers that the gentle breezes provide.

Wow!  I love the sunset picture and I did not even choose it!  How cool is that!

There is sooo much I do not have a clue about and I am not really sure that I am ready to put all of this down in print yet, but I figure, what the hey?  Right?  Anyway, I think I will go check in (gee that reminded me of how you check into a motel and put all your stuff up and then run around and check the surroundings out.  Yes, that is what I am going to do for now!  Hope that I do not get lost and can find my way back here!

Ok, I tried to put this on the page and nothing happened.  Hmmmm. not sure what to do.  Maybe over here on the right side.  Well that seems to put it down so I can preview it but it does not seem to save it yet.  Ah ha!  The update button makes it work!  I should have known.

Instead of hello world, this first entry should be called blogging for dummies!
